ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY PUBLIC SCHOOLS: AACPS Awesome

0Comments

What makes #AACPSAwesome? Working with rock star heroes like Sandy Shore and Misty Pelley, who – with very limited time and not even in their own kitchen – ventured to Chesapeake Bay Middle School this evening and prepared a hot meal for about 200 students who were still waiting for rides home as a result of the gas leak that closed Mountain Road for several hours. Their work came after a full day of meals at their own school. We could not be more proud of them and we salute them for their efforts. (And yes, they were too shy to get a photo of themselves.)

THANK YOU BOTH, and thanks to everyone who helped in this situation today.
