The City of Bowie announced on Apr. 16 that it will hold two budget listening sessions for the public later this month. The first session is scheduled for April 21 at Fairmont at Southlake, located at 620 Fairmont Drive, beginning at 7 p.m. The second session will take place on April 23 at the Kenhill Center, located at 2614 Kenhill Drive, also starting at 7 p.m.

These sessions are intended to provide residents with an opportunity to share their views and ask questions about the city’s upcoming budget plans. City officials say that community input is important in shaping financial decisions and priorities for the coming year.

Both events will be accessible online through live streaming on www.cityofbowie.org/viewmeetings. Residents can also watch live coverage on Fios Channel 10, Comcast Channels 71 and 996, or via YouTube by searching for CityofBowieMD.

No additional background information was provided regarding previous budgets or changes being considered this year. Further details about participation or agenda items have not been released by city officials.
