The Charles County Sheriff’s Office announced on April 1 that detectives are investigating a homicide that occurred early that morning on Enid Blyton Place in White Plains. Officers responded to reports of gunshots at approximately 2:54 a.m., where they found that a dispute among several individuals had led to multiple shots being fired, resulting in the death of Tyon Makai Bias, age 19, of White Plains.
This incident has raised concerns about community safety as several homes were also struck by bullets during the shooting, though no one inside was injured.
