U.S. Representative Glenn Ivey, who serves Maryland’s 4th district, has recently addressed several policy and community issues through his social media posts, focusing on health care concerns and local cybersecurity initiatives.

On October 9, 2025, Rep. Ivey commented on recent developments in national health care policy: “Donald Trump and House Republicans gutted health care — and now families are paying the price. Hospitals are closing, premiums are skyrocketing, and care is harder to afford. I’m fighting to reverse these cuts and lower costs for Maryland families.”

Later that same day, he posted a brief message emphasizing his stance on an unspecified issue: “No exceptions”.

The following day, October 10, Rep. Ivey shared his participation in a local event focused on cybersecurity: “I was honored to join community leaders for the Prince George’s County Cyber Ready Clinic Grand Opening! The milestone event marked the launch of a first-of-its-kind community initiative dedicated to providing affordable cybersecurity services while equipping organizations,”.

Rep. Glenn Ivey has represented Maryland’s 4th District in Congress since 2023 after succeeding Anthony Brown. He previously served in the Maryland House of Representatives and holds degrees from Princeton University (BA) and Harvard Law School (JD). Born in Chelsea, Massachusetts in 1961, he currently resides in Cheverly.
