Rep. Glenn Ivey, a current member of the U.S. Congress representing Maryland’s 4th district, shared several updates via his social media account regarding recent developments and events in Prince George’s County.

On June 3, 2025, Ivey reminded residents about the importance of voting by stating “I voted. Friends and neighbors, today’s your last chance to vote in Prince George’s County. Remember polls close at 8 pm.” This message was aimed at encouraging participation in the electoral process as polling stations were nearing closure that evening.

The following day, on June 4, 2025, Ivey expressed his support for newly appointed local leadership by congratulating Aisha Braveboy on her new role as County Executive. He stated “Proud to celebrate the outstanding leaders shaping the future of Prince George’s County: Congratulations to Aisha Braveboy, our new County Executive. Her unwavering commitment to justice and service continues to inspire, and I know she’ll lead with strength and vision.” His commendation highlighted Braveboy’s dedication to justice and service within the community.
