Howard Community College Board of Trustees announces virtual format for April 29 meeting

The Howard Community College Board of Trustees announced on April 28 a change in the format for its upcoming meeting, scheduled for Wednesday, April 29, 2026. The board will hold the meeting virtually via Zoom, with a public meeting room available in the Rouse Company Foundation Student Services Hall, room 400.

A portion of the board’s session will be conducted in closed session under the Maryland Open Meetings Act, Title 3 of the General Provisions Article 3-303 (b). This closed session will also take place virtually.

Howard Community College was recently recognized among the nation’s top two-year colleges by Niche. The college ranked second among all two-year institutions in Maryland and was named the top community college in the Baltimore metropolitan area. HCC enrolls nearly 22,000 credit and non-credit students from over 104 countries and generates more than $343 million in economic impact as one of Howard County’s largest employers.
