Loyola University Maryland finished third at the 2026 Patriot League Championships, which concluded on Sunday, Apr. 26. The event was hosted by Army West Point.
The Loyola Greyhounds recorded a team score of 4-over 284 in the final round, marking the second-best team round of the tournament. This performance allowed them to surpass Army West Point, who had led after the second round. However, Navy secured victory in the championship with a final-round score of 3-under 277.
Eli Spaulding delivered Loyola’s top individual performance by shooting a 1-under-par 69 in the last round and finishing fifth overall at six under par for three rounds. Liam Moloney also made it onto the Patriot League All-Tournament Team, ending up one stroke behind Spaulding in sixth place with a total score of one over par across three rounds. Diego Neira shot a final-round score of three-over-par 73 and tied for seventh place at eight over par.
Other notable performances included Jackson Roman tying for eleventh place individually after posting a two-over-par 72 on Sunday to finish ten over par overall. Jack Geyer tied for twenty-second position, four shots behind Roman, while Gustavo Rangel completed his tournament tied for twenty-sixth at sixteen over par.
The results highlight strong individual showings from several Loyola golfers as well as competitive play against other conference teams.
