Marriott International announced on May 4 that its properties across the United States and Canada raised $8.4 million for Children’s Miracle Network in 2025, setting a new record for the partnership. The announcement was made during the annual Elevate conference, where Marriott served as a sponsor and celebrated key milestones with Children’s Miracle Network.

The funds raised support Children’s Miracle Network’s efforts to provide life-saving treatments, surgeries, critical medical supplies, and research at 170 local children’s hospitals across North America. According to Marriott International, this brings their total support of the nonprofit organization to $178 million over a span of 43 years.

At the Elevate conference, Marriott sponsored events such as the CMN Champions Parade and was represented by company leaders including Mark Gaber, Chief Operations Officer for U.S. East, and Apoorva Gandhi, Senior Vice President of Community Engagement and Business Councils. More than 40 general managers and Business Council chairs from Marriott’s top fundraising hotels attended to highlight how teams contribute to these charitable efforts.

Mark Gaber said: “As one of Marriott’s leading charitable partners in the U.S. and Canada, our efforts with Children’s Miracle Network are rooted in our core value to Serve Our World. CMN’s work is life-changing and Marriott is honored to be a part of it. What makes this partnership special is the commitment of our associates. You can feel their energy and passion as they raise funds for their local hospitals, year after year.”

During the event, Gaber was recognized as Corporate Person of the Year while Marriott International’s Business Councils received an award for Excellence in Fundraising Innovation.

Aimee Daily, PhD, President and CEO of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals said: “Marriott’s commitment goes far beyond fundraising — it’s about showing up with heart, leadership, and an unwavering belief in what’s possible for kids. As our first corporate partner, their support over more than 40 years has helped hospitals deliver lifesaving care where it’s needed most, right in their local communities.”

The partnership also contributes to Marriott’s Serve 360 social impact platform which aims to positively impact five million children by 2030 through fundraising initiatives and volunteerism.

Looking ahead after this year’s Elevate conference celebration, both organizations say they remain committed to supporting children’s health through continued collaboration.
