The Maryland State Bar Association announced on Apr. 17 that the 22nd Edition of the Workers’ Compensation Manual is now available for presale, with shipping expected in mid-to-late April 2026.

The manual has served as a key resource for Maryland legal practitioners for more than three decades, providing updated information and practical tools related to workers’ compensation law. The new edition covers all relevant developments in Maryland law through February 2026, including recent case law from the Supreme Court of Maryland and the Appellate Court of Maryland, revised statutes, and updated regulations.

According to the association’s announcement, this edition includes expanded chapters with new substantive information and practice tips. It also features updated benefit rate tables for 2026 and guidance on digital filing systems used by the Workers’ Compensation Commission. Additional coverage addresses topics such as the Maryland Subsequent Injury Fund and federal longshore workers’ compensation laws.
