On January 29, 2025, Rep. Glenn Ivey reaffirmed his commitment to defending citizens’ rights in both legislative and judicial arenas. He stated, “We will keep working in Congress and in the Courts to defend your hard-earned rights.”

The following day, on January 30, 2025, Rep. Ivey expressed his condolences regarding a tragic incident at DCA airport. He remarked on the event by saying, “I was saddened to hear of the terrible plane crash at DCA. Thank you to the first responders and emergency personnel on the scene. My heart and prayers are with all affected by this catastrophe.”

On February 1, 2025, Rep. Ivey acknowledged Black History Month by encouraging reflection on the contributions made by Black Americans throughout history. He urged collective honor for these voices and stories in his post: “February is #BlackHistoryMonth, a time to reflect on the invaluable contributions of Black Americans to our nation. Together, let us honor their voices and stories.”
