Rep. Glenn Ivey, representing Maryland’s 4th Congressional District since 2023, has recently shared his thoughts through a series of tweets, addressing several key issues. Previously serving in the Maryland House of Representatives and born in Chelsea, Massachusetts, Ivey has continuously voiced his commitment to consumer rights and community engagement.

On March 31, 2025, Rep. Ivey highlighted a judicial decision that “halts the Trump admin’s efforts to destroy the CFPB”. Ivey emphasized the ongoing efforts by House Democrats to counter what he describes as the Trump Administration’s attempts to weaken consumer protections.

The following day, on April 1, 2025, Ivey shared his recent visit to Ebenezer AME. He expressed the importance of political and spiritual leadership amid challenging circumstances. Ivey appreciated joining Pastor Jamal Bryant and Pastor Browning for meaningful discussions.

Later on April 1, 2025, Ivey called attention to Senator Booker’s extended speech on the Senate floor. Ivey noted that Booker was advocating for ordinary Americans adversely affected by policies of President Trump and Vice President Musk. He reiterated the need to use available tools to stand up to the administration.
