On May 13, 2025, Rep. Glenn Ivey questioned former President Trump’s adherence to the oath of office in light of reports about accepting a $400 million plane. He expressed his disapproval by stating “Does President Trump even care about the oath of office he took? Accepting a $400 million plane is corrupt and clearly a violation of the Constitution. He and those around him acting like this is acceptable behavior should be ashamed.”

Glenn Ivey has been serving in Congress since replacing Anthony Brown in 2023 and previously served in the Maryland House of Representatives. Born in Chelsea, Massachusetts in 1961 and currently residing in Cheverly, he holds degrees from Princeton University and Harvard Law School.
