Rep. Glenn Ivey, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Maryland’s 4th district, has been actively engaging with his constituents and colleagues through various events and statements. In a series of tweets, he shared insights into recent activities and upcoming engagements.

On March 16, Rep. Ivey expressed his enthusiasm for attending the 10th Anniversary of the K.I.N.G. Movement at First Baptist Church of Glenarden (FBCG). He noted the significant turnout and energy at the event, highlighting the presence of notable figures such as James Brown and Wisdom Martin. The event was co-hosted by sports journalists Chris Broussard and Lou Holder. “It was great to see the turnout & feel the energy at @FBCG for the 10th Anniversary of the K.I.N.G. Movement.”

On March 17, Rep. Ivey reminded his followers about an upcoming town hall meeting scheduled for March 18 at Suitland High School Auditorium in Forestville, Maryland. The event aims to discuss updates on Maryland’s Fourth Congressional District with local residents.“EVENT REMINDER: Tomorrow, Tuesday, March 18 at 6:30 p.m., my office will be hosting an in-person town hall…”

Later that day, Rep. Ivey announced that he had joined his colleagues from the Maryland Delegation to release a statement concerning the future location of the FBI headquarters. The statement emphasized selecting a site that offers both quality and cost-effectiveness for taxpayers.“On Friday, I joined my colleagues of the Maryland Delegation to release a statement regarding the future of the FBI headquarters.”
