On April 12, 2025, Hoyer extended Passover blessings, writing “Chag Pesach Sameach to all celebrating Passover in #MD05 & around the world. As Seders begin tonight at sunset, we think of the 59 hostages still held in Hamas captivity. Let us continue to be inspired by the hope and resilience of the Jewish people as we pray for and work”. The tweet highlighted both a cultural celebration and a humanitarian concern.

Two days later, on April 14, he posted about his visit to NASA Goddard, saying “Today I joined Senator @ChrisVanHollen and @RepGlennIvey at @NASAGoddard to learn more about the center’s extraordinary work. We’ll keep fighting against Trump’s proposed cuts to ensure the U.S. continues to be a leader in space, science, & exploration.” This post underscored his commitment to advocating for continued funding for scientific exploration.

On April 15, Hoyer announced a legislative initiative, tweeting “I am glad to join @RepGregoryMeeks & my colleagues to introduce legislation to support our allies in Ukraine & aid their recovery with tougher sanctions & economic measures on Russia.
