On December 5, 2024, Hoyer reminded Medicare enrollees that the open enrollment period concludes on Saturday, December 7th. He encouraged individuals to explore new plans and benefits for the upcoming year by visiting “Medicare Open Enrollment ends this Saturday, Dec. 7th.” He provided resources for assistance: “Visit https://t.co/o31vH8W9Cw or call 1-800-MEDICARE to see if you are eligible for lower costs and better coverage in the new year.”

The following day, December 6, 2024, Hoyer commented on the latest employment figures released in the #JobsReport.
