On March 21, 2025, Hoyer expressed pride in his collaboration with Tony Coelho to advocate for the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). He stated, “One of my proudest accomplishments during my time in Congress was working closely with my friend @HonTonyCoelho to champion the passage of the #ADA.” He also mentioned his involvement in an American Experience PBS film that highlights the efforts to secure these protections.

Two days later, on March 23, 2025, Hoyer reflected on the Affordable Care Act (ACA), marking its 15th anniversary. He noted his role as Majority Leader in bringing the ACA to the House Floor and recalled standing with President Obama at its signing. He remarked, “15 years ago, I stood with President Obama as he signed the Affordable Care Act (ACA) into law…”

On March 24, 2025, Hoyer announced plans for an upcoming event aimed at students interested in military careers. He tweeted about hosting the 44th Annual Service Academy & College ROTC Showcase on May 8th, encouraging participation from students in Maryland’s 5th district.
