Anne Arundel County Department of Health issued the following announcement on July 1.
Under the supervision of an Environmental Health Specialist III or Environmental Sanitarian Supervisor, the Community Housing Technician will conduct surveys and educate residents to improve property conditions that contribute to rodent populations within identified communities. Duties include distributing educational materials and building relationships with residents on proper trash storage, exterior maintenance and rodent control measures; collecting field data and report on rodent activity; participating in securing communitywide improvements on proper trash storage, exterior maintenance and rodent control measures; and performing re-inspections of properties to evaluate progress toward reaching communitywide goals. Technicians must be available to work weekdays between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. from July through November 1, 2019.
