Baltimore home prices rise in April 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in April 2017 in Baltimore rose by $7,040 while total sales increased by 21.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In April 2017, there were 864 homes sold, with a median sale price of $95,000 - a 8% increase over the $87,960 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 710 homes sold in Baltimore in April 2016.

The median sales tax in Baltimore for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $2,463, approximately 2.6% of the median home sale price for April 2017.
