Derwood home prices fall in the first quarter of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the first quarter of 2018 in Derwood fell by $40,000 while total sales decreased by 13.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through March of 2018, there were 39 homes sold, with a median sale price of $395,000 - a 9.2% decrease over the $435,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 45 homes sold in Derwood in the first quarter of 2017.

The median sales tax in Derwood for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $4,947, approximately 1.3% of the median home sale price for the first quarter of 2018.
