Bethesda home prices fall in March 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in March 2018 in Bethesda fell by $50,000 while total sales decreased by 27.9%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In March 2018, there were 49 homes sold, with a median sale price of $925,000 - a 5.1% decrease over the $975,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 68 homes sold in Bethesda in March 2017.

The median sales tax in Bethesda for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $9,814, approximately 1.1% of the median home sale price for March 2018.
