Chesapeake Bay Trust issued the following announcement on June 21.
In honor of Pollinator Week, we're throwing back to the Promoting Pollinators for the Bay Workshop that we hosted last September at Robinson Nature Center. Lead by experts on pollinators, stormwater management, and landscape design, stormwater practitioners learned simple ways to enhance new and existing stormwater best management practices (BMPs) to support pollinator populations and increase biodiversity.
At the Trust, we're always eager for the projects we fund to accomplish multiple community and environmental goals. Supporting pollinator populations via stormwater BMPs is one great way to do that!
