Student attendance at J. P. Ryon Elementary School was greater than 95 percent in 2016-17

Student attendance at J. P. Ryon Elementary School during the 2016-2017 school year was greater than 95 percent, better than the state average of 93.6 percent, according to a Maryland State Wire analysis of the latest Maryland schools report card.

The attendance rate is the percentage of students in school for at least half of the average school day, according to the Maryland State Department of Education.

Overall 711 students were enrolled at J. P. Ryon Elementary School during the 2016-2017 school year.
