Maryland State Highway Administration issued the following announcement.
The Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration (MDOT SHA) invites interested persons to attend a Public Open House for the I-695/I-70 Interchange Project in Baltimore County. The project is being developed to reduce congestion, maximize interchange connections, increase capacity, and improve operational issues at the interchange by the removal of the triple bridges. The I-695/I-70 Interchange Project is part of Governor Hogan’s statewide Traffic Relief Plan and would bring congestion relief to the Baltimore area.
We encourage you to attend the Public Open House on December 5, 2018. Project team members will hear your project related comments, including prioritizing the interchange movements most important to you. MDOT SHA will not have detailed concepts but will show overall connections of interchange movements for public consideration. The meeting will be conducted in an open house format. Attendees may view displays, speak with project representatives, and provide feedback on the proposed project. No formal presentation will be given.
