Worcester County Electrical Board met Nov. 13.

Here is the minutes provided by the board:

The Worcester County Electrical Board met on Tuesday November 13, 2018 in the meeting room of the Isle of Wight County Office Building, 13070 St. Martin’s Neck Road, Bishopville, Maryland. Members present were Chairman Kenneth Lambertson Sr., Carl Smith, Duane Duncan, Steve Kolarik, Jeffrey Novak and Roy Case Members. Also in attendance were Deborah Mooney, License Permit Clerk II and Maureen Howath, County attorney.

The meeting was called to order by Kenneth Lambertson, Sr., Chairman, at 3:05P.M.

The minutes of the last meeting held on October 9, 2018 and the agenda for this meeting were reviewed. A motion was made by Duane Duncan and Steve Kolarik seconded the motion, and unanimously carried to approve the minutes, as presented.

The following is the Treasurer’s Report to be included in the minutes:

The Treasurer’s Report for October: the Department issued (64) electrical permits, total revenue collected for electrical permits was $1575.00 for electrical permits (one permit was a no charge since it was owned by the county) and $600.00 for electrical licenses. There were (6) new master electrician license issued to Larance Hull, Christopher Shepherd, Steven D Long, Luther Guy Stokely III (Trey), Mark Frazier and Alvin Pardo- Monell all of them reciprocated with the State of Maryland. Total revenue for October was $2175.00.

The board reviewed Michael D. Jones application for an electrician general license. After reviewing the application Jeffrey Novak motioned to approve the license and Carl Smith seconded the motion, and unanimously carried to approve Mr. Jones application.

Next the board reviewed Brian Luckett’s electrician general exam. Unfortunately Mr. Luckett was very close but did not pass the exam. Jeffrey Novak motioned to approve Brian Luckett to be eligible to take the exam again after thirty days from the meeting date and Roy Case seconded the motion, was unanimously approved.

There being no further business Steve Kolarik motioned to adjourn the meeting and Carl Smith seconded the motion. The vote was unanimous and the meeting was adjourned at 3:25 PM.
