MARYLAND NATIONAL GUARD: Command Sgt. Maj. Thomas Beyard’s Retirement Ceremony

Maryland National Guard issued the following announcement on Jan. 15.

This past Saturday, Lt. Gov. Boyd Rutherford, members of the Maryland Military Department, along with representatives from many of Maryland National Guard’s partners, friends, and family gathered to celebrate the 37 year career of Command Sgt. Maj. Thomas Beyard at the 29th Division Hall in Camp Frettred, near Reisterstown, Maryland. Beyard served as the senior enlisted leader of the Maryland National Guard.

“I thoroughly enjoyed our partnership. I am truly grateful for you guidance and your friendship. I know that this is not goodbye, as you will be part of our family, this family forever,” said Maj. Gen. Linda Singh, the adjutant general of Maryland, during her remarks.
