Anne Arundel County Department of Health issued the following announcement on March 25.
March 25 and March 28 Presentations on the Community Foundation of Anne Arundel County's latest needs assessment report, "Poverty Amidst Plenty VI" and discussions on the importance of the community's response to these challenges. Presented by: Dr. Pamela Brown, Executive Director, Anne Arundel County Partnership for Children, Youth, and Families.
This report provides an overview of the issues in #AnneArundel County that impact the economy and quality of life. The report intends to increase knowledge and awareness as well as to frame informed discussions about persistent local trends and needs. It is our goal to assist those interested in continuous improvement with their efforts aimed at strengthening the County. It is also a call to action. This report can be used by nonprofits, community advocates, volunteers, business leaders, elected officials, policymakers, government agencies, foundations, individual philanthropists, professional advisors, and others to prioritize and develop strategies and implementation plans with measurable goals that benefit everyone in the County.
