Bethesda home prices rise in October 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in October 2017 in Bethesda rose by $8,250 while total sales increased by 36.8%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In October 2017, there were 52 homes sold, with a median sale price of $907,500 - a 0.9% increase over the $899,250 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 38 homes sold in Bethesda in October 2016.

The median sales tax in Bethesda for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $9,814, approximately 1.1% of the median home sale price for October 2017.
