Silver Spring home prices fall in February 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in February 2017 in Silver Spring fell by $48,600 while total sales decreased by 5.4%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In February 2017, there were 53 homes sold, with a median sale price of $443,900 - a 9.9% decrease over the $492,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 56 homes sold in Silver Spring in February 2016.

The median sales tax in Silver Spring for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $5,050, approximately 1.1% of the median home sale price for February 2017.
