Baltimore home prices rise in April 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in April 2018 in Baltimore rose by $6,750 while total sales decreased by 6.5%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In April 2018, there were 808 homes sold, with a median sale price of $101,750 - a 7.1% increase over the $95,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 864 homes sold in Baltimore in April 2017.

The median sales tax in Baltimore for 2018 was $2,487. In 2017, the median sales tax was $2,463. This marks an increase of 1%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 2.4%.
