Baltimore home prices fall in March 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in March 2018 in Baltimore fell by $2,757 while total sales decreased by 41.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In March 2018, there were 488 homes sold, with a median sale price of $87,071 - a 3.1% decrease over the $89,828 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 837 homes sold in Baltimore in March 2017.

The median sales tax in Baltimore for 2018 was $2,487. In 2017, the median sales tax was $2,463. This marks an increase of 1%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 2.9%.
