Wheaton-Glenmont home prices rise in the third quarter of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the third quarter of 2017 in Wheaton-Glenmont rose by $23,999 while total sales increased by 2.6%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through September of 2017, there were 156 homes sold, with a median sale price of $361,000 - a 7.1% increase over the $337,001 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 152 homes sold in Wheaton-Glenmont in the third quarter of 2016.

The median sales tax in Wheaton-Glenmont for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $3,809, approximately 1.1% of the median home sale price for the third quarter of 2017.
