North Potomac home prices rise in the second quarter of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the second quarter of 2017 in North Potomac rose by $20,000 while total sales increased by 6.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From April through June of 2017, there were 68 homes sold, with a median sale price of $732,500 - a 2.8% increase over the $712,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 64 homes sold in North Potomac in the second quarter of 2016.

The median sales tax in North Potomac for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $7,380, approximately 1% of the median home sale price for the second quarter of 2017.
