Essex home prices rise in the first quarter of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the first quarter of 2018 in Essex rose by $5,100 while total sales decreased by 21.9%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through March of 2018, there were 121 homes sold, with a median sale price of $135,000 - a 3.9% increase over the $129,900 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 155 homes sold in Essex in the first quarter of 2017.
