North Potomac home prices rise in the first quarter of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the first quarter of 2017 in North Potomac rose by $73,750 while total sales increased by 17.9%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through March of 2017, there were 33 homes sold, with a median sale price of $685,000 - a 12.1% increase over the $611,250 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 28 homes sold in North Potomac in the first quarter of 2016.

The median sales tax in North Potomac for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $7,380, approximately 1.1% of the median home sale price for the first quarter of 2017.
