Kemp Mill home prices rise in the first quarter of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the first quarter of 2018 in Kemp Mill rose by $10,000 while total sales decreased by 22.9%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through March of 2018, there were 37 homes sold, with a median sale price of $420,000 - a 2.4% increase over the $410,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 48 homes sold in Kemp Mill in the first quarter of 2017.

The median sales tax in Kemp Mill for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $4,479, approximately 1.1% of the median home sale price for the first quarter of 2018.
