Rockville home prices rise in the first quarter of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the first quarter of 2018 in Rockville rose by $53,000 while total sales decreased by 21.6%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through March of 2018, there were 105 homes sold, with a median sale price of $513,000 - a 11.5% increase over the $460,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 134 homes sold in Rockville in the first quarter of 2017.

The median sales tax in Rockville for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $6,949, approximately 1.4% of the median home sale price for the first quarter of 2018.
