Allegany County Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on Aug. 25.
Please welcome our new member Charis Winery. Charis Winery opened to the public in early 2013 with offerings of locally produced wine. Charis has continued to grow and is now Charis Winery & Distillery with production including award-winning wines and spirits. Charis Winery, Inc. is located at 16 Howard Street at the Canal Place Shops in the downtown area of Cumberland, Maryland.
