The fourth quarter of 2021: Home prices in Damascus increased

The median sale price of a home sold in the fourth quarter of 2021 in Damascus rose by $48,000 while total sales decreased by 2.1%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From October through December of 2021, there were 93 homes sold, with a median sale price of $478,000 - a 11.2% increase over the $430,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 95 homes sold in Damascus in the fourth quarter of 2020.

The median sales tax in Damascus for the most recent year with available data, 2020, was $4,395, approximately 0.9% of the median home sale price for the fourth quarter of 2021.
