What happened to the median home price in Damascus during the second half of 2021?

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2021 in Damascus rose by $35,000 while total sales increased by 23.2%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2021, there were 202 homes sold, with a median sale price of $462,500 - a 8.2% increase over the $427,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 164 homes sold in Damascus in the second half of 2020.

The median sales tax in Damascus for the most recent year with available data, 2020, was $4,395, approximately 1% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2021.
