Anne Arundel Community College issued the following announcement on Mar. 7.
"I originally wasn't going to do SGA. I had no plans of running for Student President until Ryan, the previous president, … slowly convinced me (to do it). … I figured it's an opportunity that I'll never have again, so I took it, and it's been a wild ride. … Nominations just opened up for people who want to run for an SGA position next semester. I'm looking forward to finding the students who want to get involved and want to do that and showing them the ropes, teaching them how to do it."

Nominations for the 2022/2023 SGA executive board are open until March 18.
