In Canvas or at aacc.edu/current-students/student-handbook, you can find information about FREE resources available to students.
Here are a few that can help you earn better grades and reach your goals.
-Your teachers are your best resource. If you're having trouble in a class, go to their office hours and talk to them.
-The Academic Literacies Lab can help you strengthen academic skills, develop general learning and study strategies, and improve academic success
-The Writing Center and Virtual Writing Center can help you improve your papers and research projects.
-Tutoring, Online Tutoring and Math Tutoring is available for individualized academic support.
-Supplemental Instruction is peer-mentored group tutor sessions for select classes.
-The AACC Library is not only a great place to study, but librarians are available to help you with research projects.
-Disability Support Services can help you request accommodations for online and in-person classes.
-The Student Achievement and Success Program (SASP) supports students who may have more barriers and challenges to overcome in order to realize their goals (plus it pays!).
-Academic and transfer advisors can help you make sure you're on track to meeting your goals... whatever that looks like for you.
