In the third quarter of 2023, 28 Food and Cosmetics companies received 28 FDA inspections in Maryland, according to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

This was the highest number of inspections per type of company made by the FDA in Maryland, equalling 59.6% of all inspections in the third quarter of 2023.
