On February 13, 2025, Rep. Ivey expressed support for the Consumer Financial Protection Board's efforts against financial charges that burden American consumers. He stated, "From ATM Junk Fees to Overdrafts Charges from Banks, the Consumer Financial Protection Board alleviates financial drips that turn into a Tsunami of cost for American Consumers. We applaud this suit." He noted that since its inception, the CFPB has returned over $21 billion to consumers.

On February 14, 2025, he criticized actions taken by President Trump regarding public servants' dismissals. In his tweet, he said "President Trump has dangerously and recklessly fired thousands of public servants, including at agencies like the VA." He further attributed these job losses to decisions made by Trump and Elon Musk and highlighted the adverse impact on veterans.

In a tweet dated February 15, 2025, Rep. Ivey invited constituents to participate in a Federal Resource Fair scheduled for March 1st. He tweeted "Join Congressman Glenn Ivey and Council Chair Council Member Jolene Ivey for a Federal Resource Fair on March 1, 2025 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m." The event aims to provide resources to federal workers in Maryland.
