He highlighted the church's role as "a pillar of outreach and hope," particularly significant amidst potential threats to essential services like Medicaid: "Yesterday morning, I joined Revs. Mia and Mark Whitlock at @reidtempleame for a powerful sermon: 'Bent but Still Blessed.' Glenn Ivey has been serving Maryland's 4th District since replacing Anthony Brown in 2023 after previously working in the Maryland House of Representatives. Born in Chelsea, Massachusetts in 1961 and now residing in Cheverly, he holds degrees from Princeton University and Harvard Law School.
