Maryland Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation reported spending $141,588,544 - 264.2 percent - more in 2017 than it did 10 years ago, according to a Maryland State Wire analysis of state purchasing records.

The Department of Budget and Management publishes all payments made by public agencies in each fiscal year, with data available for fiscal years 2008 through 2017. Vendors include private businesses, local governments, non-profit organizations, and individuals.

Maryland Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation reported 2,738 purchases in the last 10 years, with total purchases totaling $1,326,127,798.
