Report: 15.9% of Morgan State University students repaying loans are in default

Out of 2,183 Morgan State University students repaying loans in 2015, 348 were in default, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

That gives the four-year public school in Baltimore a default rate of 15.9 percent for that year – 0.6 percentage points lower than in 2014 and 3 points higher than in 2013.

Morgan State University had 38 fewer students in default in 2015 than in 2014 and 24 more than in 2013.
