ANNE ARUNDEL COMMUNITY COLLEGE: Mass-Casualty Incident Simulation at BWI Provides Training For Paramedic Students
Anne Arundel Community College issued the following announcement on June 6.
AACC paramedic students practiced safety, decision-making and lifesaving skills in a training event at BWI Airport yesterday. Students identified and treated victims of a mock plane crash and later evaluated their efforts.
While we hope they never have to use these skills, this training opportunity was an invaluable part of their learning and preparation. The students will graduate from the program in August.
We couldn't have done it without Anne Arundel County Fire Department,BWI Fire Rescue Department, Anne Arundel County and City of Annapolis CERT and all our volunteers!
