Additionally, on the same day, Hoyer welcomed a Supreme Court ruling regarding Kilmar Armando Abrego Garcia, stating, "Thankfully, the Supreme Court has ruled that the Trump Administration must facilitate Kilmar Armando Abrego Garcia’s return to the U.S." He insists, "Trump has the duty & power to bring Mr. Abrego Garcia back to Maryland & must act swiftly to do so."

Born in 1939 in New York City, Steny Hoyer has been an influential political figure for decades, armed with degrees from the University of Maryland and Georgetown University.
