With Christmas a week away, we're excited to publish our third, and final, holiday-themed episode of the 2021 season - very fittingly, featuring an #ArundelBiz that's all about celebrating the holidays and making memories with family: Holiday Memories Farm LLC.
We sat down with Gary Palmer, owner of the family-owned West River farm - an agricultural business offering Christmas trees, chicken and duck eggs, produce, and more - to talk about all-things #AnneArundel ag.
We discuss how Gary went from firefighter to farmer; the intricacies of managing inventory of Christmas trees, eggs, and other offerings; and how the farm not only provides a place for people of all ages to make memories but to also learn a lot about where their food comes from and what goes into producing it.
