All BSHS, CRJU, NURS, PSYC and SOWK students are encouraged to attend the first in-person Child Welfare Workforce Student Conference. Participants will enjoy three interactive workshops led by CPS faculty to gain insight and practice skills to prepare for field placements, graduate school and professional employment. Our theme, "Caring for the Culture", will help you build your professional toolkit to develop interpersonal sensitivity and provide culturally competent care to children, youth, families and vulnerable adults. If you attended our virtual conferences, you already know this will not be one to miss! Continental breakfast, lunch, raffle prizes and certificates of participation will be provided. The conference is free but advanced registration is required.
